This screen enables you to enter an externally generated Trial Balance to enable Accounts Production. All profit and loss and balance sheet balances can be entered. 

Please Note: Any Opening Trade Debtor and Trade Creditor figures and any opening bank and nominal ledger balances previously entered using the opening balance options should not be entered again within this balance entry screen as this will duplicate the balances. This is an alternative to opening balance input in the setup menu.

• Navigate: Navigate to Accounts Production >  External Trial Balance Input.
• Date: Enter the Period End Date at which to post the entries.
• Debit and Credit: Enter each relevant debit and credit as reflected in the External Trial Balance.
• Post Entries: To process and save the comparative entries.

Thesaurus Accounts will not allow the external trial balance to be posted unless it is a balanced trial balance, therefore always ensure that the total debits equal the total credits for a complete Trial Balance posting.
